What to know 

  • Weekly Stays - Check-in is Saturday at 2:00pm and check-out is the following Saturday at 9:00am

  • Weekend Stays - Check-in is Friday at 2:00pm and check-out is Sunday at 2:00pm                                                                                          We are currently unable to accommodate early check-in or late check out requests.  Late check outs will be                              charged a $50.00 fee.  ​

​

  • Please note that we do not allow daily visitors on the property.  If you want to enjoy the Kawarthas with friends and family there are a ton of near by attractions that you can enjoy as a day trip.

 

  • Quiet hours are from 11pm until 8am

​

  • As per the Municipality of Trent Hills campfires are only allowed after 6pm and they must be fully extinguished by 1am.

  • We do provide WIFI for our guests.  Please note that due to our location it may be spotty and slow even though we do have high speed access.

​

  • The bathrooms are all equipped with a stand-up shower and vanity with both hot and cold running water. Please note that bedding, towels and toiletries etc. are not provided.

 

  • We do recycle at Jake's, it is a must.  We have provided recycling bins for glass, cans and plastic only.  Please rinse out your items before placing them in the bins. At this time we are not able to recycle paper items.

 

  • Dogs are welcome with prior approval.  Unfortunately only a few of our cottages are dog friendly due to allergies.  All dogs are required to be on a leash at all times when outside of the cottage.  Please poop and scoop.  Dogs must NOT be left unattended in the cottage.  Additional charges will apply for pets.

 

  • Unfortunately due to restrictions in the area we are not able to have fireworks on the property.  Please leave those at home.​

 

  • A variety of 14' aluminum boats with 9.9 horsepower motors are available for rent.  For the avid fisherman we offer a choice of five 20' pontoon boats.  Life preservers and marine safety kit provided.  Pleasure craft operator cards are not required to rent boats at this time.

  • We no longer issue fishing licenses on site. Please following link to obtain a licenses Ontario Fishing License
